i am a big fan of the american awards even though i'm not american simply because are one of the best and i would rate them highly even more higher than the Grammies due to the fact that they put more effort and the music and the artist gets the centre stage which obviously makes them less boring.

One of the performers this year were to name the few Maroom 5, Nicky Minaj with the performance that I did not rate high I have nothing against her but some artist are meant to perform in the small stages and she is one of them. Oh she can’t walk on high heels and that a crime if you are female so they said,  Drake pulled a better performance and I am a new believer in hip hop thanks to him and young money excluding Tyga and Minaj, but the best of them all was Lmfo with a great performance at the end of the show, I don’t know where those guys get the energy but they sure knows how to bring the house down.

My only disappointment if any was Taylor Swift getting the artist of the year award beating Lil Wayne, lady gaga, Katy Perry I mean really!!!!!!! I get it that the fans vote but should the artist of the year go to best selling artist it doesn’t make sense where is Kanye west when you need him?

Overall it was a great show I woke up early 3am south African time to watch it live just one thing I hate it when artist are not there to pick up their own awards like Beyonce went around attending fashion shows but when it her industry related event she suddenly realizes that she is pregnant   

Paz de la Huerta's camp takes alcohol away

'Paz de la Huerta was sober as a judge hosting the opening of New York’s Hotel on Rivington bar Viktor & Spoils last week, and RadarOnline.com has learned it’s because her camp wouldn’t let her drink!

The hotel management was given “explicit instructions” by the Boardwalk Empire beauty’s handlers not to serve to her any booze in light of her involvement in a number of alcohol-related incidents in the past, the New York Post reported.

Instead, mixologist Steve Olson was brought in to create a special virgin concoction for the model/actress, who plays Lucy Danziger on HBO’s critically-acclaimed series.

Her rep told the paper, while “it’s true Paz was not drinking alcohol … [she] does not have handlers.”

Well, this is certainly productive. However will Paz explain her crazy behavior if not for the alcohol and without a conveniently placed wasted friend upon which she can blame her drama? Without alcohol, will she still dress like a sleazy ballerina and flap her arms like a crazed bird for Agent Provocateur? I sure hope so.

If I were Paz and truly wanted to give up alcohol, I’d still pretend to drink. You know, pull a reverse Lohan by carrying around a bottle of Grey Goose that’s secretly filled with Evian water just as an excuse for saying or doing strange things. Because I am convinced that while much of Paz’s behavior goes to excessive lengths because of one drink too many, she’s still a complete (albeit somewhat lovable) whackjob underneath it all. Long term, she won’t be able to keep herself from letting the crazy come out, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. That’s my Paz!

For all of you who had been hoping jlo dates Bradley Cooper sorry to disappoint you, miss jlos new squeeze is the 24 year old back up dancer named Casper and I do hope that is just a nickname.
The two went from just flirting to definitely dating. Maybe she tired of chasing Cooper who made it his mission to tell anyone that jlo keeps setting him up as if he didn't enjoy the attention he was getting. To be fare she is only interested in someone she can control better which is why her relationship with Mac was never going to last from the start.
